The End of Summer Holidays

The end of summer holidays are near, which means its back to life being a student soon. For this whole 4 months period, I spent most of it on work of course. The first 3 months was all for working in ERM before I enjoyed the remaining 1 month traveling around to relax myself before I resume my studies.

The first stop... was Thailand, Bangkok. Went there with Han Ming and was warmly welcomed by Woww and her family. Nevertheless, I'm truly thankful to them for providing accommodation and hospitality to us as well. I spent almost 4d 3n in Thailand but most of the time in the trip I was unable to feel comfortable due to food poisoning. I kept going for toilet non-stop on the night of the second day in Thailand til I depart from Thailand. One of the activity which is famous in Thailand was the Aqua Show! Believe it or not, all of them are LADYBOYS! They are so much prettier and hotter than those ladies u find on the streets in anywhere you go to. After this show, my stomach started to have some weird reaction in it causing stomachache which turns out to be food poisoning. Thereafter, my trip in Bangkok was not so pleasant. I even ended up in hospital for 2-3 hours to get some syringe to cure my food poisoning else I will get serious dehydration.

After my trip to Thailand, I went to Singapore to recover from food poisoning. Maybe I shall write about Singapore Trip some other time.
In Thailand, their elephants are so intelligent that they can dance, kick football, throw darts, throw basketballs and even Elephant massage. It looks scary and they would always... always massage your private parts. So, do give a try on Elephant Massage!

LAST DAY OF WORK!

Its my last day of work today and I am feeling so lazy and fatigue in work today. I just came back from driving more than 500km during the weekends and I had only 4 hours of sleep before I drove to work so I am feeling tired in my work today.

Since its my last day of my work today, I'll be leaving to Bangkok and Pattaya soon enough. I'm on a very tight schedule so I better hope there wont be any massive jam which would delay my schedule else I would need to chase after my flight. Somehow I'm very curious what I'm going to do in Bangkok. I've never been to Bangkok and it's my first time going out of Malaysia (besides Singapore) so I'm feeling very excited to travel there and explore this place itself. Moreover, I think I'll be heading to the beach area in Pattaya too so I would have some time to relax by the cozy beach area right after my work.

Past 2 days I had 2 crazy eating sessions in Malacca. All the santans, santans and santans were the main courses. Throughout the whole journey there, I think all of us ate so much that anyone would easily gain a kg at least! FYI its already my third time down in Malacca this year and I got a good feeling I never fail to gain weight eating in Malacca!

On my way back, I met a terrible jam near Sg. Buloh where everyone opted a tol-free road and I was suffering in the jam at 1 in the morning. Such a weird and late time to jam!

Its Beginning!

I've got two days remaining at work. TWO days!

However, what I'm more interested now is towards what is upcoming. My food trip will commence tomorrow and once again it will be at Malacca. Would be seeking for food for 2 days in Malacca before I come back for my last day of work on Monday.

I'm facing a little problem with my Bangkok trip but I hope things will go on smoothly. If its flowing smoothly, I would heading towards Bangkok on Monday and I still got no idea what to do in Bangkok at the moment besides eating + shopping. Well, hopefully can find something more adventurous to do in Bangkok.

I'm feeling so lazy at work now and I cant wait til holidays begin. After which I need to start my final year which I would only care when it begins. Should enjoy all I can, while I still can.

Today there will be a farewell lunch for interns where I think I'm the only intern leaving out of the 3 of us. Shall enjoy my meal at German Restaurant . . .

PORKY DAY!

I just had my second visit to this place with awesome pork ribs. I came back to revisit this place mainly because I like the food here. The first time I came here, was with my 2 colleages who were also my uni mates and we had a great time there with our first pay. It was also a request from Mango as she crave for PORK once she is back from India. She has not been on pork galore for almost a month so this is the place which I suggested to go to. Hence, we headed to this place with a pork lover and another one is an anti-pork person.

This time, we ordered almost the same thing when we dine in again since I have already known which is good. In this dish we got ourselves Pork-in-a-blanket, Dynamite sausages, lamb and best of it all the pork ribs!

Its the best of them all, no doubt. Its so nice that an anti-pork person would have this as well. Almost everything we ordered, were pork.

All in all, the food was great, especially when it was served with a pint of Kilkenny.

7/14

Just realized today is the exact day for Hungry Ghost Festival.

Well, since its the 7th month for the Chinese, it has always been described as the "dirty" month and its the best time for parents to nag their childrens, "Don't go out so frequently in this month" or maybe "Come back earlier if you are going out at night". Not sure if this applies to all out there but it definitely happened to me, yet my answer is always "yes, yes, yes ,yes", or "okay".

Yesterday I went to an Enlightenment Ceremony in Memorial Park. I'm not really sure what is the main purpose for this occasion though but its fully packed with humans. What I did was just resting under a tent with my grandma and dad while my mom went on with the ceremony. I was asked not to follow them to take care of grandma and another reason is that the place where they are heading too is overcrowded.

Anyway, for the coming days in this month, especially today, do be more careful. You'll never know what are about to happen!

The 12th Week

I'm already on the last day of the 12th week of my work with only 1 week and 1 day remaining. Seems like time passed so fast and my intern life is coming to an end soon, a compulsary job with miserable pay. In a way, it is quite relaxing working here, needless to stand in the middle of the sun but kept freezing in the middle of summer; needless to work on saturdays but arriving at 7am everyday just for parking. I think the people here are quite friendly as well!

The team which I'm under now is also planning for a mini celebration at Red Box because they have just received their bonus (interns don't get bonuses). It's gonna be abit costly but I might just head over as I'm almost leaving the company already, at least hang out with them once in the entire 3 months period I'm here. Good thing is, its no longer in Pav, so its gonna be slightly less damaging to my pocket.

彩虹

It was raining on a sunny day yesterday when I was on my way back from work and I was almost home by that time. I wasn't expecting rain yesterday as it was so sunny and I also wanted to take a jog at Desa Park City.

Shortly after I settled down at home, the downpour stopped. I got myself preparing to head outside for a jog. To my amazement, I saw a rainbow which was formed not long ago I guess. After jogging around this place during the summer break, this is the first time I've bumped onto familiar faces as well, but not that close to those I've bumped onto.

Sadly, after 2 rounds around the track, heavy downpour resumes so I got to head back to my house before I get all wet....

The visit

I will be expecting my lecturer to come over to my workplace today for a short visit to check on our progress in our internship. Pretty unsure what we are about to be questioned on today but hopefully things would go on smoothly. All this while in my workplace, there isn't much projects to be done. The unlucky bit for us is that for this year, the projects came in late, probably like 2 weeks back instead of during July where they called July as the peak period for the company. So, we, as interns ended up doing less work compared to the interns from the previous years whom had more work distributed for them.

What I heard from my friend was that the previous year had to go on OT quite often to finish the work given out to them. However, thats not the case this year as I manage to be quite punctual when it comes to the time to leave the office. One of the reasons which our senior told us is because of the economy, which has just recovered, or some might say its still recovering. Hence, projects came in later than expected and we have so much free time in the workplace.

Okay, I think the lecturer might be in anytime. Will scribble back sometime tomorrow if I have any idea what to scribble on this page.

It scared the hell out of people

Yeah, Its the weighing scale in my house.

I just realized on a Saturday night that the weighing scale in my house is giving out false readings. The readings shown in the weighing scale are usually heavier/fatter than their original weight.

So, it manage to scare my friends off as they stepped on it.

FAT!

Oh no... :(

My lap top has just been hospitalised. On a Saturday evening, I have problems trying to boot up my lap top. I tried numerous methods to try and solve the problem yet I'd fail. The worst part of it all its that it did not even went into the BIOS part which leads to a terrible sign, a sign where the motherboard is completely dead. The main problem might be due to overheating though. I suspect the problem might be also due to electronic failure though.

I hope my friend who works in Dell could help me out in it and give me an idea of what choices I'm left with now. No matter what the problems are, I would surely need to use up lots of $$ on this matter.

A dead motherboard would costs up to Rm1XXX while purchasing a new desktop would amount to RM2000. I can't live without a computer in my next year studies. I've got FYP to work on.

:( :( :( :(

My turn

Today is my turn to watch others eat while I present. Its a long ass presentation with a minimum of 30 minutes. I hope I can make it. One thing for sure, I'll be so hungry to watch others eating while i'm doing my presentation later.

After this presentation, I will be so free with nothing much to do but surfing the net.

Up and coming plans....

I just manage to book my airtickets to Bangkok yesterday. Had some tough time trying to convince my parents to allow me to this place since it has many bomb scares recently. However, there are news in The Sun mentioning that Bangkok will lift emergency rule in some areas which means its going to be a safer place to travel. Hopefully my parents will be able to read this news to assure them I will be SAFE throughout the journey.

Now, what I need to do now is to plan ahead where to head to around Bangkok. Talked to Gab yesterday and he mentioned a few places, such as shopping & eating and not forgetting to visit the Palace. Well, he even mentioned about places like Agogo Bar and also Ping Pong Show which I doubt I will get a chance to visit those places. Anyway, I need to do more search and ask around to make sure I'm heading to the right places in Bangkok.

I'm such a busy man towards the end of this month. Just have to make sure the dates don't clash.

Malacca : 28/8 - 29/9;
Bangkok: 30/8 - 2/9;
Singapore: 3/9 - 15/9.

Alexis - Tiramisu

Not sure if I blogged about the tiramisu here before, but its definitely one of the best dessert in town in my opinion. Its available at Alexis. It was my bro who introduced this to me so if it wasn't him I wouldn't know theres such good stuff available just that its abit costly.

Another plus point going to alexis is the ambience that is available there, especially on a Friday or Saturday night with Jazz band available as well, a good place to be for those who wanna relax after working for the entire week or it can also be a good place if you are with the right person. It's all dark in there and the only thing which lightens up the place is the candle placed on every table

What else can I say? This thing is just awesome.

Busy busy busy....

One again, its Monday and I have to say again that weekends is never enough again. I wisely spent both my weekends in a great manner.

Saturday was an awesome day, besides the fact that travelling to KL was exceptionally JAM! In future I have to remind myself to always leave like half an hour earlier to take into account for the all the jam. However, the day was made awesome with almost the whole day in Pavilion, dining and catching a movie before heading over to Alexis to enjoy some Jazzy music. Well, had like 4 meals a day which is quite alot and bumped onto Gab & ORANGE in pav.

On Sunday, I spent some time in cc trying to learn how to play SC2 but failed because we're not sure how the LAN connection thing works. Its kinda weird. After that headed over to my boss's housewarming, a giant bungalow lot with my colleagues and had a a longer than expected time there because one of our uni lecturer was there to LECTURE us. He can really really talk for a long long time.

Well, looking forward to the next weekends. Still have 3 more weekends to go before my intern is over :)

Freeeeeezing!

The past few days in office were so cold that I was freezing as if there's a winter in the office. Its not the first time for this to happen in the office because previously there were times where the office air conditioning system was so good until it gives a chilling effect to all the employees.

Thankfully, one of my best of friends who is concern about me bought be a Hoodie for my birthday after hearing all the moans I made on facebook. It helped alot in maintaining my body temperature with thicker clothing compared to what I usually wear to office.

Thank you for the present Mindy =)

Today is Friday!!!! :D

Yeah, weekends are once again around the corner! Feeling so excited and couldn't wait til the remaining 3 weeks are over. Well, I'll be having quite some time to enjoy over the weekends, I hope. Seems like I'm gonna catch a movie this weekend and in need to attend my boss's house warming party. Can't wait to see how her house looks like but more importantly is how will Saturday turn out to be.

I'm a very good employee this few days, starting working very early in the morning as I've been assigned some tasks to do. Next week Imma be so stressssssssful with a presentation to go. It is at least a 30 minute long presentation and I hope I don't hypnotise everyone who are listening to my presentation!

My internship

I've got only a month remaining in my internship now. I just cant wait until holidays for myself begin after earning petty cash from this job but its useful in the future when I'm to look for a job.

The first 2 months of internship was rather different for me. The first month was kind of busy and I think I learnt quite alot of stuff back then. When the second month begins, work load dropped and I'm doing almost nothing in office except my own project as well as getting involved in internet surfing and chatting. Well, its now the third month and the only thing I can do now is to ask for something more to do before I dozed off in the office after sleeping quite late yesterday compared to the usual time i head off to bed.

Another thing which worries me is the parking. I've always have to look for different place to park my car and I'm contented with where I park now. There's only 1 problem with it now, which is the parking is getting more & more crowded when I reach. Before this, there it was occasionally empty before I reach but now its filling up whenever I reach. Seems like more and more people are parking at residential areas and I hope for this month, I will get a place at where I'm parking at each day!

Okay, time to get my ass off the internet surfing and back to my work as early as 8.20 in the morning.

Office days..

Recently, there is nothing much for me to do in the office. The consultants seem to be busy with their stuff and the company seems like they are having insufficient project. I did feel quite bored with what I'm doing now compared to when I started working but thankfully they did not blocked any websites or IM so I could keep chatting/onlining just to stay awake.

I've done most of the stuff I'm required to do and now my only job is to prepare for some presentation speech. I will be dead bored to do this whole day because my presentation date is not set yet at all. Really hope I would be getting more stuff to do in the office rather than rotting here in the office surfing around. Its the best time for me to learn before I start my worklife. I think I could really learn alot of useful stuff here if I were given something to do. They do little bits of everything in this place!

There wasn't free "The Sun" available today when I arrived so I'm dead bored now after surfing net and completing my usual routine.

Oh yeah, Jen nvr ffk me yesterday. At least my jogging was so much more interesting with someone to jog with. Time passed faster!

Beginning of a new Week

Its Monday once again but I'm just 1 month away from finishing up my internship which is a good thing because I'll start relaxing for like a month before my new sem kicks in. The 1 month period might seem very short to me because I think its filled with plans, at least I will be busy for half of the month. I am still considering another trip to Bangkok which is still under progress. If I am attending this trip, it will make my schedule jam packed travelling to both neighbours of Malaysia and I might need to take a day off on my last day of work to travel to Bangkok.

Once I started working, I realized my weekends were limited. It was insufficient and I was hoping it was longer of course. There were so many things to attend to each week and its filled with so much activities. This means I'm using quite alot of $$ which I'm earning very little for now.

Last Saturday I just had a great time meeting up with my College mates. I was totally like a dead person on Friday and Saturday but the gathering made me feel slightly better. I was having tremendous headache that I slept for more than 14 hours on Saturday before making it to this event. The headache was really killing me before that so I just lied on my bed hoping things would get better.

For the coming weekend, I'm hoping things would go on smoothly and wished I don't screw things up... Well, there are still many days more to go before weekends arrive.

College Gathering 2010

I just came back from a college gathering and have not met for some time.

Time passed by so fast and everyone is about to graduate.

Some even started working as well.

Well, It was great to meet them all back after so long and I'm glad many turned up.

Thanks for being considerably punctual and being available for this rare event.

I hope there will be more to come :)

I wished....

I really wished you were really happy to hear the news and bless us of course instead of being all emotional... We can still be like how we use to be and I think you are just too sensitive over this matter. Please be able to adapt to this new situation, I have to move on as well, at a stage... Well, I will be very committed and will try my best not to hurt her, taking care of her very well through good times and bad times.

Time will tell and hope you'll soon be able to talk to me, like how you usually do =)

Ong Tze KEEN!

Dear Uncle Ong. Happy birthday and you are now officially double 2. I know you are really enjoying UK so much that you wouldn't want to come back, especially when you need to face your family problems. Do leave more footsteps around Europe since you now have the opportunity to do it which I don't have. Hope you will find your special one as well :) However, I can't wait for you guys to be back from UK! I miss you all!!!!!!!!!

p/s: I'm so jealous you guys are going to MU to celebrate :( :(. Take more pictures yea!

Kampachi = Good food

Last weekend I went to Kampachi where it was rumoured to serve good Japanese Food. We took some time to consider before even going into this place. Well, the person who sponsor needs to consider before deciding to step in to Kampachi!
This was the view when we were walking into Kampachi. The ambience is good but what is more important is the food that await us!
Well, this is what we ordered for 3 person. Lets start off with the tea. They do have a wide variety of tea selection and this was recommended by the waitress which is the apple and berry tea. It possesses a unique flavour to me and I kinda like it. The soba & unagi rice was good, but nothing to shout about when compared with the other food available on our table.

I personally like chawamushi so I enjoyed the chawamushi served. The Raw Salmon was super awesome but sadly there were only 3 slices so I've only manage to eat 1 slice as The Sponsor ate 2 slices. Too bad I couldn't get a nice picture of those salmon as the macro pictures failed terribly.
Well, this is the next good thing on the menu, Soft Kani Maki. There were exactly 8 pieces of huge soft shell crab in a seaweed and this is just so delicious! You just got to try it to experience it.And the bill amounted to the price shown. We had trouble finishing everything on the table as I was eating less recently. Since those 2 girls have small appetite, I ended up eating quite alot for this meal. Thanks Po Yi for the MEAL! :D

I will definitely come back again maybe once I started working in a permanent job for now, this amount is too much for students. The food is excellent, without a doubt.

Congratulation for Graduation!

It was convocation last Saturday and I purposely woke up early in the morning just to get some stuff to this event. Its my first time attending a convocation since my brother graduated which is years back.
These were presents bought, specially for few of those who were graduating. Well, graduation gifts now comes in some weird bears/soft toys.

Now for the main event, it was awesome to see all bunch of people-in-robes although feeling envied. These were bunch of people whom were enjoying themselves so much and got themselves a well-earned degree.

Its been some time knowing you all and now you guys are all graduating leaving me alone in Uni. I'll definitely miss all the fun we share throughout our entire life in Uni as all of you are now GRADUATES.Each and every one of you made my uni life a great one and I got another year to go through without you guys in Uni. I wonder how will I go through my fourth year without each and every one of you!
It's good to be excited and keep taking all the jump shots but don't forget, most of you are contributing to unemployment rate. Better get yourself employed soon before you all ran out of $$.

Well, Congratulations and all the BEST in your future undertakings :D

You have the joy of posing with all the flowers & graduation gifts but you weren't the one who graduate this year, maybe you have your chance to carry all this next year but I already got in mind what to buy for you for your graduation next year, provided you never fail.

I wanted to photoshop your face to the graduation gift next year but I think I'll keep it a surprise for others since you know well what you'll be getting.

heh heh.

Me dumbass

Nothing really good happened yesterday. I started my day off in an extremely tired and sleepy mode which I've not encounter before. It was a bad day and I couldn't understand the reason for me to be in this condition. After contemplating for a long time I finally decided to brew something around tea time before I fell asleep in the workplace. So I decided on a cup of Neslo instead of coffee. Since I've never brew my own Nescafe before, I was such an idiot to put the same amount of Nescafe with same amount of milo (2 spoolful each) with hot water and no sugar. I usually brew my own Milo (4 spoolful without sugar) so I thought it was alright to brew my Neslo in the way mentioned earlier.

Outcome:
DISASTROUS. It was so bitter and so so so Nescafe-concentrated instead of tasting like Neslo. No Milo taste at all. I was never sleepy after drinking the entire cup I brew. Instead I got myself into a worse condition. I was feeling weird the whole day after that cup of "Neslo". I felt hyped-up and I kept burping too. MY whole body was feeling so bad n terrible n weird (IDK how to describe). I wasn't feeling sleepy at all whole day, even at 12am I am feeling energetic. Felt like I've got caffein poisoned. OMG.

So, Lesson Learnt & hopefully today would be a better one. I don't feel so tired today though.

Cendol

I headed to Malacca once again, but this time I manage to try grab the best, and probably the worst cendol in Malacca.
This first cendol @ first stop in Malacca is definitely the best 1 I've tasted. Plus point its only RM 1.80 each although it used to be RM1.50. Its hidden within some housing area 15-20 minutes drive from Jonker Street so its not easy to locate unless you've been there before.

So far, all the cendol I've had in Malacca are best of quality. They never fail to make my day all almost any cendol in Jonker Street is awesome! However after trying the cendols @ Tan Kim Hock, I think otherwise now. Its the first time that the cendol in Malacca disappoint me. These are quite expensive, RM3 for normal cendol, RM5 for Durian cendol. I had the normal one and it tasted awful, disgusting and horrendous. Furthermore the cendols were'nt well defrosted, it felt like frozen cendol. I had a few sips before I left the remaining of the cendol to waste, probably just had like 2-3 sips.

Besides the cendol, I enjoyed all other food in Malacca =)

My tummy is SATISFIED.

North or South?

No idea where to head to tomorrow. I've got 1 day to travel around but unsure where to go although I'm most probably heading south this time, with my family.

North
- Its quite a distance away to places like Ipoh or Penang for the food there. I've never been to Penang and always wanted to go there but its 4-5 hour drive away. So its too far away!

- Quite a variety of food choice and destination places as well but I'm not familiar with those place. I'm not sure whether my bro is familiar with Penang and Ipoh as well.

- I rarely travel north so I'm not sure at all of what's available there.

South
- Been there plenty of time. More familiar with the area, with food at least.

- Does not seem too far away, can head down to Seremban before going down all the way to Malacca.

- Once again, been to Malacca a few times but I don't mind going there again for the food.

Well, I think I'll head south again tomorrow...

Birthday =)

Yesterday, I just turn a year older. It was rather a dull day without any plans yesterday. Since it was on a weekday, friends are working, or they have already celerated for me, or they are going to celebrate for me over the coming weekend.

Well, I did receive quite a number of wishes from facebook, but the number of people greeting me through sms greatly decreased. To be honest, there were only 6 of them. Well, its the influence of facebook which decreases it I guess.

Anyway, the best thing ever happened yesterday were the two calls all the way from UK. Thanks Tze Keen & Phei Yin. You guys surely made me my day. 1 call in the morning, bad reception on PY's phone (:P) and another in the evening by TK (VERY good reception). Not forgetting, Mindy called me too. At least now you WON'T forget.

Anyway, last Friday I already had my birthday celebration with the EMO people. OMG. When was the last time since we last have a dinner with so many of us attending, 11 in total, although I wish Wang Wang would've been around to join us as well but he is enjoying his studies in Taiwan. Well, thanks for the cake and the meal in Delicious. This cake is good and I ate a quarter of it, at least.
Well, it was in conjunction with Chyn's farewell as well. I might not be able to catch up with you anytime this weekend so would wish you a safe journey to Aussie.
Then we have some beer session before we head back.

Had a great time last Friday and thanks for organising.

This weekend I'm gonna get glutton as well!

:(

Today I am fashinably late for work. Don't feel good though. Its my first time being late for work and feel kinda guilty and gotta work slightly longer today.

Yesterhad enquired my supervisor about some result stuff and it does not seem there are anything else I could do. If I continue pursuing, I'll be all my myself and supervisor did what he could. In addition, it will greatly spoil the relationship bet. my lecturers and me so I think I better stop and accept what we were given.

There's 1 thing which I am in doubt now. I hope I don't get conned.

Weekends

My last weekend is all-about-food.

Friday --> Delicious
Saturday --> Pasta Zanmai + another Japanese restaurant
Sunday --> Chinese food!

Makes me feel so bloated n guilty over the weekends but the food were fantastic that I think I ate a lot!

World Cup . . . . .

Congratulations to Spain for winning the world cup this year.

I was hoping Holland could've won the game though. The game went on quite boring actually with very few actions so it left my father asleep and me, watching alone in my house. The English referee was doing quite a bad job I think as the match looked chaotic, with even Kung Fu kick available in game. Holland were too rough though just to spoil Spain's passing game.

Anyway, Spain deserved the victory. It was a great goal from Iniesta!

A long long day ahead.

Its Friday again and its time have some relaxation over the weekends. Busy weekends ahead full of food, movie and food again =)

Looking forward for farewell dinner tonight. We have not had a dinner with so many of us together for a very long time ...

By any means, I'm going to splurge out a large amount of $$ this 2 weeks.................

Here it goes. What happens when you combine a girl with computers?

1) The lap top will look even better when there are hot chicks POSING for lap tops.

2) But when a girl uses a computer....

You are putting it at RISK.

This happened to one of my friend, where she needs her computer to be formatted TWICE in less than THREE months. What's worse is she does not know how to format a computer so she is asking around for help to format her lap top.

Is it because she surf too much of P?
or is it because girls don't understand lap top at all, just like what happen when you talk to girls about football.

Well, thats true for some girls, but for this girl here is a total exception!

P/s : Ladies, plz don't get offended for this post. Does not apply to all the ladies out there, just most of it :P

Venting...

Recently, the R&D I did previously didn't really pay off quite well. So I went on and asked my supervisors and lecturers on what have we done wrongly to receive such low marks. So far, we have been told alot of stuff which I classify them as.... NONSENSE

An opportunity missed but a lesson well learnt

Approximately few weeks back, I've been informed that I was 1 of the selected candidates to be interviewed to particape in YLA by McKinsey. At that time, I've got no knowledge on who/what is McKinsey and what they do at all so I asked around and found out that they are a highly reputated company and definitely the best of the best management consultant company in the world. Such a shame not knowing it earlier but resorted to ask my brothers about this company.
Backdating to 2 Saturdays ago, I attended the interview where the company is proudly situated in the heart of city and occupying part of 57th floor of this high-rise building. I made my way to the 42nd floor before I continue my way up to the 57th floor. I did have a look around this area and have a peek at the KL view from the 42nd floor and snapped a few pictures with phone as well. It was awesome! Then, I made my way through to the 57th floor before I was warmly greeted by the reception and of course the snacks that the provided too.

Next, I was called up for 2 separate interview sessions. The first went smoothly and I think I did reasonable good in it. On the second interview, I kinda hessitated and I just couldn't think of what to talk about and the plan couldn't come out from my head. I'm outta my mind. So, I sort of screwed up on my second interview.

Yesterday, my first interviewer, Chee Hong(I hope I spelt it correctly), called up and gave me the bad news. In a way, I was glad that they even bother to call me up although I wasn't selected for YLA. What I was told is that I wasn't specific enough in what I am to do to bring Malaysia forward. I have just got to agree with him because all this while in my life, I've never had any specific goals/targets on what I have to do in future.

Ever since Secondary school, I never know whether I should follow my brothers footstep in Art's stream, or should I try out something different from them in Science stream, so I randomly chosen Science stream just to be different from my brothers, not wanting to do something similar as them and this is not because I'm totally obsessed with Science Stream. Then, when I entered my college life, I had to meddle between all this choices again.

After completing my A-levels, I took a very long time to decide to advance into Engineering field, but not knowing which Engineering course should I take. One of the reason I took Engineering is because Engineers can help improve everyone's life and I wished I could do that someday to improve everybody's life. Once again, I randomly selected to take on Chemical Engineering w. Environmental Engineering in Notts.

So far, I always have a mindset to do whatever I'm asked to do, trying out anything and everything BUT I never had any specific goals/plans. So, I hope in the coming future, I can figure out to be more specific on what I want to do and how will I accomplish my fugure goals/plans.

Anyway, would like to compliment Chee Hong and McKinsey for their good practice to call up on every sucessful/unsuccessful interviewees and he even offered me service to help me in the future if I were to face the same problem again, or if I ever apply to McKinsey to work. You guys really earn the respect from me and I really appreciate you guys and I definitely have a very good impression of this place.

Pimples =(

Recently, I am getting insufficient sleep and it is heavily contributed to all the world cup matches which is so temptable to watch combined with work the next day. Pimples have gotten over me for some time and I've been asked for years to seek skin specialist in order to solve the problem, yet I have been reluctant in most of the times. So lazy to head over to a skin specialist as the charges are exorbitantly high. However if pimples still remain after my internship, i MIGHT consider this option.

I just feel so so so so SLEEPY now in office, and its not even 9 am.

Exams..

Exams results are quite bad but not too bad either. I expected far worse than this but some subject which I thought I would score better, I got lower marks and subjects which I thought I will be doing badly, I reasonably good marks for what I've written.

This exam is WEIRD

Marks dropped, but thankfully its less than what I expected.

Phucking

I'm currently doing my industrial training in a busy district full of high-rise office towers. Working condition, environment, people were all good except for the availability of parking lots. It is troublesome in this area where vacant public parking lots are almost impossible to find even if I arrived at work early in the morning.

I used to reach around 7.15am to my work place in order to get myself a legitimate parking lot. For the past 3 weeks of work, I have no problems with my parking because I'm driving a small car to work and found a parking lot which fits ONLY small cars. At that time, the demand wasn't there yet as I never fail to park there, for the last 3 weeks at least (Except for 1 week where I have season pass).

Today, I reached my office as usual at 7.15am but unlike last time, the place where I usually park has been taken by some other people and I'm forced to look for another place to park. This time I parked somewhere nearer to my office, opposite a housing area. It's an illegal parking though and I'm hoping I don't see any summonses after my work. Seems like after today, I gotta wake up even earlier for a parking lot. SHIT.

Today I just feel so stressed up and nervous. I'm moodless to do anything at all. Results are out in just a few hours time and I know I didn't did too good in my previous exams, especially on 1 of the papers which I'm doubtful of even passing it.

Finally, to those who are getting their results today:

I bet you'll NEED it!
