Ong Tze KEEN!

Dear Uncle Ong. Happy birthday and you are now officially double 2. I know you are really enjoying UK so much that you wouldn't want to come back, especially when you need to face your family problems. Do leave more footsteps around Europe since you now have the opportunity to do it which I don't have. Hope you will find your special one as well :) However, I can't wait for you guys to be back from UK! I miss you all!!!!!!!!!

p/s: I'm so jealous you guys are going to MU to celebrate :( :(. Take more pictures yea!

Kampachi = Good food

Last weekend I went to Kampachi where it was rumoured to serve good Japanese Food. We took some time to consider before even going into this place. Well, the person who sponsor needs to consider before deciding to step in to Kampachi!
This was the view when we were walking into Kampachi. The ambience is good but what is more important is the food that await us!
Well, this is what we ordered for 3 person. Lets start off with the tea. They do have a wide variety of tea selection and this was recommended by the waitress which is the apple and berry tea. It possesses a unique flavour to me and I kinda like it. The soba & unagi rice was good, but nothing to shout about when compared with the other food available on our table.

I personally like chawamushi so I enjoyed the chawamushi served. The Raw Salmon was super awesome but sadly there were only 3 slices so I've only manage to eat 1 slice as The Sponsor ate 2 slices. Too bad I couldn't get a nice picture of those salmon as the macro pictures failed terribly.
Well, this is the next good thing on the menu, Soft Kani Maki. There were exactly 8 pieces of huge soft shell crab in a seaweed and this is just so delicious! You just got to try it to experience it.And the bill amounted to the price shown. We had trouble finishing everything on the table as I was eating less recently. Since those 2 girls have small appetite, I ended up eating quite alot for this meal. Thanks Po Yi for the MEAL! :D

I will definitely come back again maybe once I started working in a permanent job for now, this amount is too much for students. The food is excellent, without a doubt.

Congratulation for Graduation!

It was convocation last Saturday and I purposely woke up early in the morning just to get some stuff to this event. Its my first time attending a convocation since my brother graduated which is years back.
These were presents bought, specially for few of those who were graduating. Well, graduation gifts now comes in some weird bears/soft toys.

Now for the main event, it was awesome to see all bunch of people-in-robes although feeling envied. These were bunch of people whom were enjoying themselves so much and got themselves a well-earned degree.

Its been some time knowing you all and now you guys are all graduating leaving me alone in Uni. I'll definitely miss all the fun we share throughout our entire life in Uni as all of you are now GRADUATES.Each and every one of you made my uni life a great one and I got another year to go through without you guys in Uni. I wonder how will I go through my fourth year without each and every one of you!
It's good to be excited and keep taking all the jump shots but don't forget, most of you are contributing to unemployment rate. Better get yourself employed soon before you all ran out of $$.

Well, Congratulations and all the BEST in your future undertakings :D

You have the joy of posing with all the flowers & graduation gifts but you weren't the one who graduate this year, maybe you have your chance to carry all this next year but I already got in mind what to buy for you for your graduation next year, provided you never fail.

I wanted to photoshop your face to the graduation gift next year but I think I'll keep it a surprise for others since you know well what you'll be getting.

heh heh.

Me dumbass

Nothing really good happened yesterday. I started my day off in an extremely tired and sleepy mode which I've not encounter before. It was a bad day and I couldn't understand the reason for me to be in this condition. After contemplating for a long time I finally decided to brew something around tea time before I fell asleep in the workplace.So I decided on a cup of Neslo instead of coffee. Since I've never brew my own Nescafe before, I was such an idiot to put the same amount of Nescafe with same amount of milo (2 spoolful each) with hot water and no sugar. I usually brew my own Milo (4 spoolful without sugar) so I thought it was alright to brew my Neslo in the way mentioned earlier.

Outcome:
DISASTROUS. It was so bitter and so so so Nescafe-concentrated instead of tasting like Neslo. No Milo taste at all. I was never sleepy after drinking the entire cup I brew. Instead I got myself into a worse condition. I was feeling weird the whole day after that cup of "Neslo". I felt hyped-up and I kept burping too. MY whole body was feeling so bad n terrible n weird (IDK how to describe). I wasn't feeling sleepy at all whole day, even at 12am I am feeling energetic. Felt like I've got caffein poisoned. OMG.

So, Lesson Learnt & hopefully today would be a better one. I don't feel so tired today though.

Cendol

I headed to Malacca once again, but this time I manage to try grab the best, and probably the worst cendol in Malacca.
This first cendol @ first stop in Malacca is definitely the best 1 I've tasted. Plus point its only RM 1.80 each although it used to be RM1.50. Its hidden within some housing area 15-20 minutes drive from Jonker Street so its not easy to locate unless you've been there before.

So far, all the cendol I've had in Malacca are best of quality. They never fail to make my day all almost any cendol in Jonker Street is awesome!However after trying the cendols @ Tan Kim Hock, I think otherwise now. Its the first time that the cendol in Malacca disappoint me. These are quite expensive, RM3 for normal cendol, RM5 for Durian cendol. I had the normal one and it tasted awful, disgusting and horrendous. Furthermore the cendols were'nt well defrosted, it felt like frozen cendol. I had a few sips before I left the remaining of the cendol to waste, probably just had like 2-3 sips.

Besides the cendol, I enjoyed all other food in Malacca =)

My tummy is SATISFIED.

North or South?

No idea where to head to tomorrow. I've got 1 day to travel around but unsure where to go although I'm most probably heading south this time, with my family.

North
- Its quite a distance away to places like Ipoh or Penang for the food there. I've never been to Penang and always wanted to go there but its 4-5 hour drive away. So its too far away!

- Quite a variety of food choice and destination places as well but I'm not familiar with those place. I'm not sure whether my bro is familiar with Penang and Ipoh as well.

- I rarely travel north so I'm not sure at all of what's available there.

South
- Been there plenty of time. More familiar with the area, with food at least.

- Does not seem too far away, can head down to Seremban before going down all the way to Malacca.

- Once again, been to Malacca a few times but I don't mind going there again for the food.

Well, I think I'll head south again tomorrow...

Birthday =)

Yesterday, I just turn a year older. It was rather a dull day without any plans yesterday. Since it was on a weekday, friends are working, or they have already celerated for me, or they are going to celebrate for me over the coming weekend.

Well, I did receive quite a number of wishes from facebook, but the number of people greeting me through sms greatly decreased. To be honest, there were only 6 of them. Well, its the influence of facebook which decreases it I guess.

Anyway, the best thing ever happened yesterday were the two calls all the way from UK. Thanks Tze Keen & Phei Yin. You guys surely made me my day. 1 call in the morning, bad reception on PY's phone (:P) and another in the evening by TK (VERY good reception). Not forgetting, Mindy called me too. At least now you WON'T forget.

Anyway, last Friday I already had my birthday celebration with the EMO people. OMG. When was the last time since we last have a dinner with so many of us attending, 11 in total, although I wish Wang Wang would've been around to join us as well but he is enjoying his studies in Taiwan. Well, thanks for the cake and the meal in Delicious. This cake is good and I ate a quarter of it, at least.
Well, it was in conjunction with Chyn's farewell as well. I might not be able to catch up with you anytime this weekend so would wish you a safe journey to Aussie.
Then we have some beer session before we head back.

Had a great time last Friday and thanks for organising.

This weekend I'm gonna get glutton as well!

:(

Today I am fashinably late for work. Don't feel good though. Its my first time being late for work and feel kinda guilty and gotta work slightly longer today.

Yesterhad enquired my supervisor about some result stuff and it does not seem there are anything else I could do. If I continue pursuing, I'll be all my myself and supervisor did what he could. In addition, it will greatly spoil the relationship bet. my lecturers and me so I think I better stop and accept what we were given.

There's 1 thing which I am in doubt now. I hope I don't get conned.

Weekends

My last weekend is all-about-food.

Friday --> Delicious
Saturday --> Pasta Zanmai + another Japanese restaurant
Sunday --> Chinese food!

Makes me feel so bloated n guilty over the weekends but the food were fantastic that I think I ate a lot!

World Cup . . . . .

Congratulations to Spain for winning the world cup this year.

I was hoping Holland could've won the game though. The game went on quite boring actually with very few actions so it left my father asleep and me, watching alone in my house. The English referee was doing quite a bad job I think as the match looked chaotic, with even Kung Fu kick available in game. Holland were too rough though just to spoil Spain's passing game.

Anyway, Spain deserved the victory. It was a great goal from Iniesta!

A long long day ahead.

Its Friday again and its time have some relaxation over the weekends. Busy weekends ahead full of food, movie and food again =)

Looking forward for farewell dinner tonight. We have not had a dinner with so many of us together for a very long time ...

By any means, I'm going to splurge out a large amount of $$ this 2 weeks.................

Happy 22nd birthday!

Girls + Computers = ?

Here it goes. What happens when you combine a girl with computers?

1) The lap top will look even better when there are hot chicks POSING for lap tops.

2) But when a girl uses a computer....

You are putting it at RISK.

This happened to one of my friend, where she needs her computer to be formatted TWICE in less than THREE months. What's worse is she does not know how to format a computer so she is asking around for help to format her lap top.

Is it because she surf too much of P?
or is it because girls don't understand lap top at all, just like what happen when you talk to girls about football.

Well, thats true for some girls, but for this girl here is a total exception!

P/s : Ladies, plz don't get offended for this post. Does not apply to all the ladies out there, just most of it :P

To: Fei Po

Good luck in your grade 8 test!Don't fail okay. I don't want to lose a housemate :D .. hehe

Target --> 99/150!

Venting...

Recently, the R&D I did previously didn't really pay off quite well. So I went on and asked my supervisors and lecturers on what have we done wrongly to receive such low marks. So far, we have been told alot of stuff which I classify them as.... NONSENSE

An opportunity missed but a lesson well learnt

Approximately few weeks back, I've been informed that I was 1 of the selected candidates to be interviewed to particape in YLA by McKinsey. At that time, I've got no knowledge on who/what is McKinsey and what they do at all so I asked around and found out that they are a highly reputated company and definitely the best of the best management consultant company in the world. Such a shame not knowing it earlier but resorted to ask my brothers about this company.
Backdating to 2 Saturdays ago, I attended the interview where the company is proudly situated in the heart of city and occupying part of 57th floor of this high-rise building. I made my way to the 42nd floor before I continue my way up to the 57th floor. I did have a look around this area and have a peek at the KL view from the 42nd floor and snapped a few pictures with phone as well. It was awesome! Then, I made my way through to the 57th floor before I was warmly greeted by the reception and of course the snacks that the provided too.

Next, I was called up for 2 separate interview sessions. The first went smoothly and I think I did reasonable good in it. On the second interview, I kinda hessitated and I just couldn't think of what to talk about and the plan couldn't come out from my head. I'm outta my mind. So, I sort of screwed up on my second interview.

Yesterday, my first interviewer, Chee Hong(I hope I spelt it correctly), called up and gave me the bad news. In a way, I was glad that they even bother to call me up although I wasn't selected for YLA. What I was told is that I wasn't specific enough in what I am to do to bring Malaysia forward. I have just got to agree with him because all this while in my life, I've never had any specific goals/targets on what I have to do in future.

Ever since Secondary school, I never know whether I should follow my brothers footstep in Art's stream, or should I try out something different from them in Science stream, so I randomly chosen Science stream just to be different from my brothers, not wanting to do something similar as them and this is not because I'm totally obsessed with Science Stream. Then, when I entered my college life, I had to meddle between all this choices again.

After completing my A-levels, I took a very long time to decide to advance into Engineering field, but not knowing which Engineering course should I take. One of the reason I took Engineering is because Engineers can help improve everyone's life and I wished I could do that someday to improve everybody's life. Once again, I randomly selected to take on Chemical Engineering w. Environmental Engineering in Notts.

So far, I always have a mindset to do whatever I'm asked to do, trying out anything and everything BUT I never had any specific goals/plans. So, I hope in the coming future, I can figure out to be more specific on what I want to do and how will I accomplish my fugure goals/plans.

Anyway, would like to compliment Chee Hong and McKinsey for their good practice to call up on every sucessful/unsuccessful interviewees and he even offered me service to help me in the future if I were to face the same problem again, or if I ever apply to McKinsey to work. You guys really earn the respect from me and I really appreciate you guys and I definitely have a very good impression of this place.
