Hmmm

Hmmm.

Been attending few interviews this 2 weeks and still wondering on what should I work as.

Sometimes I felt better not working as I don't feel the urge of making money this summer, unlike last year I was working for money. Last year I had the urge to try and become a promoter but this year is different, I wanted to work as something which will give me a boost in my career. I was actually hoping for a Chemical Engineering internship but all my applications were unsuccessful and the remaining time which I am left with I've got not enough for one of those jobs.

Hopefully what I decided to do today is a right and good choice.

The Weekend

Over the Weekend, I've celebrated my birthday with my friends and also my family.

It all started on Friday where I had dinner at Tony Roma's with Steph, Swan and Gab.
And in there, there was this waiter who kept giving recommendation of the best food served in Tony Roma's Malaysia which is the Wagyu Steak. It surely is nice where it costs RM 99 for this piece of 10 oz steak. If I am working, I would end up eating that, but I am not so I ordered Grilled Lamb ribs. Well, according to my brothers, Pork Ribs in Singapore taste much better but it is not available as Tony Roma's in Malaysia is a HALAL one.
After the dinner which tasted soooo good, we went to look out for techie stuffs and the first shop we went has a quite interesting conversation.
White = me
Red = salesperson

Do you carry Razer products in here?
Yeah we do have. This one our (R)Lazer mouse.
Er... I mean the brand Razer. The one with a logo of 3 snake heads
Sorry ah, our place don't have any snake heads. Not even one.
Swt......

He made me completely speechless. Then we move on to the other stall. A very big IT hypermarket. They put the price tag for Razer Deathadder at RM 190 so I grabbed one of the white coloured one and when I reached the cashier, they scanned the price to be RM 213. In the end, the Razer Deathadder which cost RM190 is the guildwar edition mouse which is Orange in colour. As there was a small dispute, one of the senior worker there explained to me about their mistake and he offered me the guildwar edition Razer Deathadder at a member price of RM 179. Thanks Swan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As Swan was paying the bills, Steph was busy shooting pictures.

And I am patiently waiting for my mouse.

Finally, thank you guys for celebrating with me and thanks for this blog post too!

Saturday, my brothers purposely came back to celebrate my 21st birthday with me. Feel good having them along celebrating my birthday. My parents organised a dinner at Restaurant Sai Kong with relatives on my mum's side and I am happy that everyone was present. This is the usual eating place for my family as the food here is cheap and nice. As usual, the Cod Fish is fantastic as well as all the other stuffs.

My presents there were nice red packets from 2 of my aunties, 1 from my Grandmother and also a shirt from Pull and Bear from Limun(My 2nd brother's GF). Thank you thank you....

After the dinner, I went to some dancing place where I called it my parents clubbing area on Friday nights. Most of the patrons are around the age of my parents while I am one of the youngest there. In here, Limun performed with my brother. Limun is a very good dancer while my brother..... No comment! he he...

I kinda want to refresh back my Salsa steps and and and Cha cha as well. I still got my basics but the advance ones I totally forget most of it! So I ended up watching my parents on the dance floor!

Saturday night ends with a supper with Kinz, Hola, Wang and Yun at Al-Safa, their new Shisha spot.

Sunday.....
This day itself I celebrated my birthday with Kinz, Hola and Wang Wang. At first we thought of going to BBQ Plaza in 1U but once we reached 1 U, Kinz told me about his friend workin in TGIF at the Curve where he can get discounts and stuffs. So, we immediately left 1 U and went to the curve.

When we are at TGIF, we get to know his friend which is Edd. He works at the bar as the one who juggles all those bottles and I don't know what is that job called. He made drinks for all of us. One of them is blue in colour, the other is red if I am not mistaken. Then 2 more drinks for Hola and Wang which tastes like Ice Lemon Tea with liquor. I drank the blue one which is good. Kinz got the one in red. I don't remember what it is called but I think it is called the Singapore Sling.

I didn't get any pictures captured here as I did NOT bring my camera over.

After the Singapore Sling, Edd made another drink for me, a shot. I think it is a Tequilla Shot with a lemon. I had to down it, no choice and I'm fearing if he would give me bottomless shots because he said "this is level 1, be prepared for the next levels ahead". I'll be dead drunk if he does that.

Then we had our main course. I ate their 10 oz JD Steak which tastes very good while Wang Wang and Kinz ordered JD chicken and shrimp. Their chicken serving is pathetically small and I think one can finish it all in one bite! Ho had pizza before he came over so he just sat down and drank with us. After finishing our main course we had lots of crazy stuffs.

Edd gave us all another shot. This 1 is a trickier one. I think it tastes like Johnny Walker's Black Label. I think la as this 1 was a tougher one compared to the one earlier. Things went crazzzzier later when Kinz's fren, Edd called the staff for the celebration. Ahhh.....

Firstly, I was dragged on to a bar chair, then the bar table facing the streets and everyone inside is watching. Ahhhhh. As I got stage fright, I've got myself mind blocked.

Secondly, they asked me to look for a cherry using my head. The tricky part about this is that the cherry is buried inside a plate with with with..... chocolate cream in the inside, vanila cream on the outside. 1 word sums it all up, SPLAT!

Thirdly, since my face was squeaky creamy, 1 of the waiter went n put the remaining of the creams on my entire head, my hair. My hair got so so so so oily.

Thereafter, I receive my birthday songs from the staffs @ TGIF. It sounds like We will rock you, but in their version. Then I have to blow the candle far far away from me. Ahhhh. But it still is possible and I ate my cake! Back home, I tried cleaning myself out of this mess. Whoa, after few rounds of cleaning my hair, it is still oily!

The experience in TGIF is an unforgetable one. It was crazy getting myself in this condition in public and I definitely enjoyed it. It was kinda fun!

Going back home feels like playing Need for Speed for some reasons. The adrenaline rush =)

Thank you everyone for giving me such a great birthday celebration and I really reall do enjoy my 21st birthday to the max!!!!! Without my friends and family, all this would not have happened! Love you all!!!!!

14th July 2009 part 2

After being student, I actually had to rush for my second gathering which is a karaoke session with my ex colleagues for Dell. For this gathering, I would like to thank Angeline for organising this out although you are sick and also..... you manage to make Tony pay for everything! haha.

Present was Me, Angeline, Cathy, Jia Chen, Tony and Ken Soh. Yeah, we had a great night there from 7.30pm til 3am with my very own first cake when I reached 21. Thanks everyone for the cake although most of the cake didnt end up being eaten, as it ends up mostly in every1's face I suppose. Same goes to the Sparkling Juice that they gave us. Sorry Cathy, got you all over wet! haha

Anyway, not gonna talk much about it as I have not receive photo's yet, will edit when I get those. Hope to see you all soon!

14th July 2009

On this date itself, I received a call while I was sleeping around 11.30am. TK suddenly asked me to go Sing K which I need to be ready in a very short time, like rushing for K lunch promotion at Pavilion Red Box Plus I suppose. Another thing is there is a theme for our outing, which is School Uniform attire!

1 of the very proud thing of me is that I still manage to wear my school pants!!!!!!! haha!!

Yeah, going out in school uniform sorta bring back good old memories from the past, during my life in secondary. Without them it will surely be a dull life back then. Well, once I left house, I made a wise choice to go to PY house instead of waiting for them in Pavilion as TK suddenly had to FFK us and go do something for his gf =( =(. So, we changed our plan instead of SING K, We go look for food in Pavilion!!

We camped in PY house and waited for them to finish up their dressing up. OMG took so longggg time to get themselves dressed up! Finally around 2-ish, we roll out!

After looking around as a student in pavilion in search of food, we ended up in a turkish dining over there. I don remember the name but these are food we ordered.
PY's Strawberry drink.
CM's Lychee something something something.
My very own tasty Vanila drink !

The chicken is delicious. Very "licin".

The lamb on the other hand is more to ME n CM's taste as PY say the lamb smell is quite heavy but the more I ate, the better it gets!

All in all, the food here is quite good and it is only my first time eating Turkish food. CM was the smartest over here. She went out to eat in pavilion with only RM15. Smart ass!

Of course, it will be all about camera after the lunch in Pavilion. They look soooooo Masculine in what they are wearing! haha!

For some safety reasons, most of the photos containing me n PY will only be uploaded here to avoid problems.

It was a FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN day! memorable. bringing back sweeeeet memories together with you all! Just really too bad TK couldnt join.

Sorry SN! don feel bad coz we didnt ajak you. I know u will definitely be reading this but.... SOrry! :P

TK = Tze Keen
PY = Phei Yin
CM = Cheng Mei
SN = Sze nee

Part 2 another day!

Back in Malaysia

I'm not back in Malaysia after enjoying myself all the way down in Singapore. I had a very enjoyable time there and many thanks to both my brothers . . . who sponsored almost everything for my trip down in Singapore.

My last weekend in Singapore ended up shopping around in Singapore with Steph, Gab, Swan and Wai Kit and the damage was around SGD 150 - SGD 200 for my stuffs which includes Shopping and meals. What I bought are:

1 pair of Nike Shoe
1 Baleno Polo Tee
2 pairs of FCUK t-shirt

Didnt bought too much items there and walked around alot and sadddly it rained on Sunday so we failed to visit Singapore Flyer and Red Dot Museum and also Sim Lim.

So, I actually became a super light bulb the whole weekend.

I looked sooo bright in the middle of the picture!

Anyway, back to life in Malaysia now. I hope I can quickly find good job as soon as possible. I had enough of relaxation time I suppose.

Haze in KL is terrible.

Life in Singapore...

Life in Singapore is very good indeed. Just when I reached Singapore, I had a chance to enjoy Transformers 2 for the second time, Revenge of the Fallen.

The show was good even when I watched it the second time and this time I watched with my biggest brother and his friends. They are transformers freak as they are born in transformers era. I feel the show is nice (especially Megan Fox) but not my brother and their friends as they say they are dissapointed by the movie. I guess a lot people watched this show already and if they aren't any, I won't write any spoilers out.

The second day in Singapore I hang out with my second bro. This time I went to watch him doing his Salsa practices with his friends in his studio. Coincidentally, it is a so called salsa party at the last Friday of every month so there were lots of people dancing over there and from they way they dance, most of there are advance learner or experts. We are the only group of beginners there. I tried refreshing my salsa too but it failed terribly. I forgotten everything about salsa except the basics. I sucked in salsa.

After salsa, I ended up in Zouk and Phuture with my brother. Sadly I did not take my camera over so I didn't take any pictures and plagiarising others now.

Surprisingly I went there with my second brother. He rarely clubs and he doesn't drink. My big bro even tell me before that when he drinks a graveyard, he is puking already but at least he didn't puke after drinking a shot. It was trance in Zouk and R&B in Phuture but we actually went in Zouk first before we went to Phuture. They prefer R&B than trance I guess.

Saturday I went to KBOX with both my brothers and also with Hope. She's my big bro's gf. Karaoke in Singapore is very expensive compared to Malaysia. It costs SG30 per person for 4 hours and they provide buffet but with only one drink. The food is alright and definitely imcomparable with what served in Malaysia. The buffet choices are limited too.

Sunday was a walking day. After taking MRT to City Hall, I walked with my second bro the whole day in Funan's where they sell alot of computer stuffs but incomparable to Low Yat in terms of price after conversion. Then we walked to Bugis to have a look at those who are playing Street Fighter 4 in the arcade area and those guys who sits down there and play are really GOOD.

Everything in Singapore is good until today where my Assassin's Creed saved data is corrupted and couldn't continue. Damn. After playing for like 4 days the saved file is corrupted. I guess I have to start another game and hopefully I can finish Dead Space before I return back to Malaysia on coming Tuesday.

Being in Singapore is kinda good until now. My brothers are kind and generous to be paying on all my expenses over here. It's something good being the youngest brother in a family. My brothers are GOOD! LOL..
