Exams over and new semester began immediately after that, where I had like 2 days break. Its kinda sucky though but this is how it is each year, just that previous years I had an extra 2-3 days of holidays compared to this year.
New semester kick-off healthily for me but for this semester, I got to make a tough decision on an elective subject(Optional Module). After attending almost all the optional module classes I had in my mind, I am now down to 3 choices which are PDE, CPD and CEP.
PDE
Partial Differential Equation. Maths module with a high average shown by lecturer for the results last year. There were 11 students who manage to pushed the average to more than 75. If I were to take this module, I think I MIGHT be able to score but the contents of this module are of less useful when it is applied to Chemical Eng. or Env. Eng. Basically, this module is useful to pull up average marks.
CPD
Chemical Product Design. A very useful module and might be a very good choice for all those doing the same course as I do. Contents of this module are certainly useful for Chem. Eng. but it comes with a tougher paper. It's not easy to score but the knowledge acquired from this module is kind of important.
CEP
Contemporary Economics Policy. Somewhat like Macroeconomics according to the lecturer. I got no idea what on earth is MacroE but as engineer we must have some knowledge on this as well. This is what I have in my mind as I think it is quite important to get some exposure on Econs. Its a business student module so I am not really sure on how engineering students perform on this module but this module seems quite interesting.
So far, I kinda think I would end up selecting CPD or CEP and I have another hectic week this week as I will still continue to attend these classes. Still got some time to actually think of what I should take this semester.
