I am back!!!!

Summer break is coming to an end, such a bummer knowing it and I've been so busy throughout my entire Summer Break. Although I'm not earning much money, I'm spending too much money during my summer break. Argh, running out of cash seriously.

Yesterday I just had a wonderful Japanese buffet dinner @ Legend Hotel. It was not too expensive as we got a 50% discount for dining there thanks to Hola. Whenever it comes to buffet there, it rarely failed to satisfy my taste buds! I had quite a lot and I got seriously bloated after the meal.

Then I had to fetch Charis back to her house at a chaotic town called Cheras. The traffic at the opposite direction was freaking heavy and the cars are not moving at all so we chilled out @ Wong Kok at Leisure Mall for a short while before sending her off and what I can say about her is that, she attracts cockroaches in my car. Squashed 2 of them which wanted to pay Charis a visit. One of them made Kinz ran to the back of my car when he last sat in my car. It was the 3rd cockroach found in my car, thankfully are all small ones. I hope there ain't any big ones in my car.

Since the last time I touched my blog, I attended a few events as well. They were Awesome! I wanted to write a lengthy blog post about those events, but I was too busy back then. I am just occupied with too many things to play with. Dragonica was one of the culprit. Online games are just so addictive. Anyway, screw those games. I am gonna play even lesser when I my 3rd year starts at 28th September 2009.

Well, a few weeks back I went to this event called 7th Crystal Dancesport Championship at Shangri-La Hotel.

My main purpose there was to watch these 2 in action support them in their First Competition. Who are these 2? I wonder... Although the failed to qualify, they did well in both ChaCha n Jive. They did better in their Jive routine though. Thumbs up for them for the courage to participate in this event.
and...
I was there with my Parents!
The best part of this event is when the pro dancers came out to show their moves. I was totally amazed and stunned by how good the Westerner's are when they performed ballroom dance routines(Waltz, Tango, Vienese Waltz, Quick Step n Foxtrot) . All were top notched and none of the Asians can matched them. The difference in their levels are too far apart!

For some reason, my family loves dancing. My parents started to pick up dancing 2 years ago and now they go clubbing every Friday night to practice their dance routines. My eldest brother is even doing more dances with his GF like samba, rhumba, chacha, jive and what else? I don't remember. My second brother is doing very well in Salsa and his GF is someone who reached the performance level for salsa which is exceptionally good.

Me? I started learning how to dance like a year ago. I started off with Hip Hop @ Notts Uni Dance club and I kinda liked it. There were 2 instructor from Urban Groove which has been disbanded recently and yeah, they taught well. In my year 2 of studies, I decided to go for Latin classes instead of Hip Hop and Latin classes because it was too expensive paying both fees. It was from my own pocket money. Hence I learnt beginners Cha Cha and also Salsa. I enjoyed more Salsa than Cha Cha and if there is a chance next year, I'll continue learning Latin dances as well.

Once again, few weeks back I attended a Church Anniversary event I suppose. Its Trinity Methodist Church celebrating their 50th anniversary at Extra Super Tanker Restaurant. Went there with my relatives and the food served here is definitely delicious. They served to more than 70 tables that is available there and the quality of all the food served that day was excellent. There is a price to pay for the food served, it costs RM5000 per table of 10 person and thanks to my Uncle, we manage to get a very good seat and ate good stuffs.
The church group did came out with lots of activities like singing Christian sings which I rarely listen to.
Then musicians were doing their stuffs when food are served
Father and daughter performing high-pitched songs. I don't know whats it called. Falsetto? but of course, I still think Vitas is better than them yet the uncle who looked quite in his golden age performed brilliantly.

We even have a future violinist performing right in front of us. She walked pass us and I manage to capture a reasonable picture with a camera phone! I forgotten her name, but she did played feel good songs.

There was a hand knitted bed sheet which is auctioned as well. My uncle who bought this table won it with RM10,000. Wow, such an exorbitant amount for this item.
As usual, it all ended with a birthday cake! Happy 50th Birthday Trinity Methodist Church. I enjoyed the meals there, the performances there and the evening there.

Finally, I went to celebrate Angeline's birthday @ Quattro Spring section. It was introduced by Tony and present were Ken, Angeline, Cathy, Tony and me. Well, it wasn't cheap going there and we had a JW Black Label ordered. We even ordered a flaming tower for the birthday girl.

Congrats you are now 21 yrs old.

Tony came with his baby, RX-8. Damn, it looks cool. I'd want one of this.

Well, after posting a post-celebration video at facebook, I rarely talk with Angeline anymore. LOL

Anyway, I guess this is all I am gonna write today! A long post, yeah.. and.. I can't wait for this weekend. It would be my Grandma's birthday Celebration and my cousin's bday celebration. Both my brothers will also be present! Heh..heh...

Til then.... Ciao
